EPISODE 1
The judges of Cycle 1 inclue Tyra Banks, Janice Dickinson, Kimmora Lee Simmons, and Beau Quillian. After auditions they could only agree on 8 girls to move on: Adrianne, Shannon, Elyse, Robin, Kesse, Ebony, Nicole, and Katie. 2 more girls were added by a separate auditon: Giselle and Tessa. Other hopefuls included Christina, Justine, Natalie, Heather, Shawna, Lenora, and Jakai.
The first challenge was 'talk to the public' with Janice Dickinson. Ebony won the first challenge making her immune from elimination.
In the first photoshoot the gils modeled JLO swimmwear by Jennifer Lopez on top of a Manhattan skyscraper in freezing weather. I like to rate the photos myself, but I do not always agree with the judges. I ordered the girls like this: 1 Nicole, 2 Elyse, 3 Adrianne,
4 Kesse, 5 Ebony, 6 Giselle, 7 Katie, 8 Shannon, 9 Tessa, 10 Robin
Callout order: 1 Ebony, 2 Elyse, 3 Kesse, 4 Adrianne, 5 Katie, 6 Nicole, 7 Giselle, 8 Robin, leaving Shannon and Tessa as the bottom 2. Shannon was saved, sending Tessa Carlson home. Since this was the only photoshoot she was in, this was her best photo.
This episode starts with the girls in the house. Everytime is shows Elyse all she talks about it how she is so smart and so the girls drive her crazy because she is smarter than all of them. We also learn how Shannon and Robin are very religious. Unfortunately for Elyse, who is an atheist, Robin is always trying to push religion on her. Honestly I don't like Robin or Elyse. I think they are both stuck on themselves. The girls were also concerned about Elyse's eating habits. I think Nicole and Shannon look a lot alike. Once again I hate Elyse she goes off on everyone. Ebony goes off on a rant and Robin started singing some gospel song in the middle and then she made them all say a prayer. Of course Elyse the atheist freaked out. She cried because she was uncomfortable.
The girls got to have a runway lesson with J. Alexander, later known as Miss J.
The girls are given a runway challenge and the winner receives a night on the town with Wyclef Jean. Giselle won the challenge and got to take 3 girls to go with her. She picked Adrianne, Nicole, and Katie to go with. I also hate Adrianne's bandana on her head constantly.
In the second photoshoot the girls modeling swimwear for Stuff Magazine with photographer Barry Hollywood. He like Adrianne and Shannon the most. I ordered the pictures 1 Kesse, 2 Adrianne, 3 Elyse, 4 Robin, 5 Nicole, 6 Shannon, 7 Ebony, 8 Katie, 9 Giselle.
At panel Miss J. was a guest judge. Call out order 1 Shannon, 2 Nicole, 3 Giselle, 4 Robin, 5 Adrianne, 6 Ebony, 7 Elyse, leaving Katie and Kesse in the bottom. Kesse was saved sending Katie Cleary home. Her best picture was in the JLO swimsuit.
In this episode all the girls get makeovers. Robin and Ebony both had complaints of course. The challenge was to pick out and put on makeup. Elyse won and got to meet some famous fashion people and picked Adrianne, Nicole, and Robin to come with.
In the third photoshoot the girls were asked to pose with a snake. Robin and Nicole were terrified. Photographer was Troy Ward. I ranked the pictures 1 Adrianne, 2 Elyse, 3 Robin, 4 Ebony, 5 Giselle, 6 Shannon, 7 Kesse, 8 Nicole.
Call out order: 1 Shannon, 2 Kesse, 3 Elyse, 4 Giselle, 5 Adrianne, 6 Robin, leaving Ebony and Nicole in the bottom 2. Ebony was saved meaning Nicole Pannattoni was sent home. Her best photo was the JLO swimsuit. Nicole is one of the contestants I liked.
In this episode the girls challenge was to do a line reading. Robin won and chose Kesse and Shannon to join in the prize of a spa treatment. The loser got to clean the apartment.
In the fourth photoshoot they girls did a commercial for Fresh Look contacts directed by Loren Haynes. I ranked the girls: 1 Giselle, 2 Kesse, 3 Robin, 4 Shannon, 5 Elyse,
6 Adrianne, 7 Ebony.
Call out order: 1 Kesse, 2 Elyse, 3 Adrianne, 4 Robin, 5 Shannon, leaving Giselle and Ebony in the bottom. Giselle was saved. Ebony Haith was sent home. Her best picture was with the snake.
EPISODE 5
In this episode the girls practiced their interview skills. When challenged by a tough interviewer Elyse was chosen as the winner. She picked Adrianne to share the prize. They got to have loved ones flown into New York for a visit. Adrianne had her mom come and Elyse had her boyfriend come.
In the 5th photoshoot the girls modeled Reebok shoes and posed with NFL rookie of the year, Clinton Portis. I ranked the girls: 1 Giselle, 2 Adrianne, 3 Shannon, 4 Kesse, 5 Elyse, 6 Robin. Kesse looked a lot like Tyra in her photo.
Call out order: 1 Adrianne, 2 Kesse, 3 Shannon, 4 Robin, leaving Elyse and Giselle in the bottom. Elyse was saved. Giselle Samson was sent home. Her best picture was the Reebok footwear one. Giselle was one of the models Iiked.
EPISODE 6
In this episode the remaining contestants traveled to Paris. The challenge this week was to go on go-sees. Elyse won the challenge.
The sixth photoshoot was for Wonder Bra with photographer Michel Haddi. The also got to pose with male model, Brad Pinkert. I ranked the girls: 1 Elyse, 2 Adrianne, 3 Shannon,
4 Kesse, 5 Robin.
Call out order: 1 Elyse, 2 Shannon, 3 Robin, leaving Adrianne and Kesse in the bottom 2. Adrianne was saved, sending Kesse Wallace home. She is one of the models I liked. Her best picture was the swimsuit shoot for Stuff Magazine.
EPISODE 7
In this episode the challenge was to carry themselves in a coutoure situation at dinner with 4 gentlemen. Adrianne was chosen as the winner and she picked Elyse to join in her prize which was a one night stay in the Presidential Suite at Le Meridien Hotel.
The seventh photoshoot was an impromtu black and white with Tyra as the photographer. I ranked the girls: 1 Robin, 2 Elyse, 3 Shannon, 4 Adrianne.
In the eighth photoshoot the girls modeled Merit Diamond Jewelry in the nude with photographer Patrick Katzman. Shannon and Robin chose not to participate. I ranked the girls: 1 Elyse, 2 Adrianne.
Call out order: 1 Elyse, 2 Adrianne, leaving Shannon and Robin in the bottom 2. Shannon was saved sending Robin Manning home. Robin's best picture was the Tyra Black and White photo.
FINALE
In this episode the 3 remaining girls were evaluated by the judging panel. Shannon was called out first leaving Adrianne and Elyse in the bottom 2. They decided to save Adrianne and Elyse Sewell was sent home. I never liked Elyse. Her best picture was the swimsuit picture for Stuff Magazine.
The two finalists faced off in a runway modeling Baby Phat clothing. I ranked the girls:
1 Shannon, 2 Adrianne.
And the winner of America's Next Top Model is Adrianne Curry. Shannon Stewart was my favorite model. Her best picture was the football photo. Adrianne's best picture was the snake picture.
